We are thrilled to announce that Mandolin New England, Inc. has officially joined forces with The Mandolin Academy, a leading institution dedicated to the art of mandolin. With a rich history of offering private lessons on mandolin, mandola, mandocello, octave mandolin, and mandobass since 1995, The Mandolin Academy has been a cornerstone of mandolin education in the region.

Founded by Adam Sweet of Sweet Music in Northampton, MA, The Mandolin Academy has grown over the years, expanding its offerings with the inclusion of the South Hadley Mandolin Orchestra in 2009 and the Springfield Mandolin Orchestra in 2018. This expansion reflects a deep commitment to fostering a vibrant community of mandolin players.

The Academy now offers a range of group classes at Sweet Music Studio in Granby, MA, including the popular Monday Mandolins for advanced players on Mondays at 7 pm, Mandolin 4 Beginners on Wednesdays at 7 pm, and Mandolin New England rehearsals on Saturdays at 10 am.
